Responsibilities
- Defining Project Roadmap for Data Migration:
- Develop comprehensive project plans and roadmaps for migrating data to cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Fabric
- Define milestones, timelines, and deliverables aligned with business objectives
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the migration process
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and emerging technologies in cloud computing and data engineering
- Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and solutions that could enhance data architecture and migration strategies
- Provide recommendations based on industry trends and best practices
- Oversee the migration of data solutions to Microsoft Fabric (formerly Azure Synapse Analytics)
- Design scalable and efficient data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Databricks, or other relevant Microsoft Fabric technologies
- Ensure data security, compliance, and optimal performance during migration and post-migration phases
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong Data Engineering Background which includes but not limited to:
- Experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric:
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric.
- Ability to architect, implement, and optimize data workflows and pipelines on these platforms.
- In-depth understanding of data engineering principles, data architecture, and data management practices.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable data solutions.
